What is Kendo? 剣道とは？
Kendo is the art of Japanese fencing. Ken or tsurugi is from the character meaning “sword.” The character for do or michi includes the meanings “way” or “path,” which translates as "The way of the sword," a path in life which is followed through training in kendo.

Head Instructor for Sei Ken Kai dojo Current SEUSKF Treasurer and VP Promotion and AUSKF BOD member- AUSKF & SEUSKF member since 1990. SEUSKF BOD since 2011 - served for Competition Committee, Education Committee and VP of Promotion Committee (2021-2024). SEUSKF Men’s Team Captain and competed in AUSKF Nationals in 2011, 2014 & 2017 and served as Men’s Coach in 2017 & 2023. Continue to serve as AUSKF BOD Member & Promotion Committee (2025-2027) and working at Keller Williams Realty as Associate Broker.
